I hesitated to do a session for fear of being exposed ... too exposed. But Kate's calm (ever calm) voice helped set the environment I needed to be honest. Speaking has always served me as a caregiver. But this session asked me to listen and that was both uncomfortable and comforting. Ironic isn't it? I tried to stay present but was totally guilty of wandering. However, the wandering also served me. As I sit with the session now, I really came away with a plan.
